## Suggesting an addition or correction

Open an issue or pull request with:

- the direct URL to the primary source;
- the publication date and date you last checked the page;
- a concise description of the change;
- a short excerpt only when needed to identify the relevant passage;
- a Wayback Machine capture link if you verified that the capture loads.

For corrections, point to the exact claim or field and provide evidence. Do not describe a page as deleted, corrected, or retracted unless a source supports that status. Keep the author's words separate from the project's summary or analysis.

## Privacy and conduct

Do not submit private personal information, attendee lists, home addresses, personal phone numbers, or calls for people to contact an individual. Use organization-published channels intended for business, press, vendor, or sponsor inquiries. Keep contributions focused on public statements, event decisions, and verifiable responses.

## Review

Contributions may be checked against the linked source before merging. Reviewers should preserve context, identify uncertainty, and correct the record openly when new information changes an entry.
